Summary/Review:
This beautiful board book pack fills a great void in the Muslim kid lit space. It is so well done and it is a wonderful way to introduce the three holy masajid to mini Muslims. The pack includes 3 books, each one focusing on each masjid. The adorable cat, Huraira is the tour guide for each one and had my toddler looking for Huraira on each spread. The pop-up surprise gives the board books a 3D feel that me and my toddler absolutely love. each book includes facts about each masjid and review questions about what was learned in the book. Sara Khan’s expertise paired with Ali Lodge’s soft illustrations talents shine through in this much needed book set. I cannot wait to see Sara’s future project contributions to the Muslim Kid Lit space.
