At Muslim Kids Book Nook, my mission is to support the education of children in the path of Allah (SWT) through high-quality, meaningful Muslim KidLit. My reviews aim to empower parents, teachers, and librarians to make informed decisions that align with Islamic values.
What I Focus On:
I review children’s books that include one or more of the following:
- Islamic content
- Muslim characters and stories
- Positive, Islamically-acceptable lessons
- Accurate and authentic Muslim representation in KidLit
Even if a book is not explicitly Islamic, it will be reviewed through an Islamic lens (Qur’an & Sunnah), with attention to:
- Authenticity of values
- Language, tone, and age-appropriate text
- Quality of illustrations and production
- Storytelling strength and emotional relatability
Review Policy as of December 2025:
- Physical copies only. I do not accept digital versions for review.
- Only books I LOVE/LIKE will be featured on my platform to uplift Muslim Lit
- Returning books is not feasible, even if your book is not featured in our blog
- I am based in Canada — please consider shipping logistics
- I am currently NOT accepting any Self-Published books for review.
- I am currently NOT accepting submissions from authors, only publishers
