Summary/Review:
Any which way I try to write a review about this book, my words will not do it justice. Ramadan Rain is a story that drew me in wishing to be emersed into Haneen’s world and hold her hand. Every word is ever so thoughtful and tender. This is story about blessings of rain in Ramadan and the anticipation of having your duas accepted. Almost the entire book is set in a masjid, Haneen keeping busy between colouring with friends, making dua and napping beside her mother while she does her mother engages in ibadah.
This story captures the exact peace, calmness and safety felt throughout the masjid in taraweeh prayers in the heart of every. I just love this story and this book so much.
I wish this book was released a month earlier so it could have been celebrated with all other Ramadan releases and Ramadan titles. This book comes out on March 10th.
