Summary/Review:
As a reader of all-books Ramadan, I am always looking for Ramadan books that offer a unique story and I really like and appreciate what this book has to offer. “Just Right” Ramadan is a great read, not only for the kids but for the whole family. The beautiful message of this book is about finding balance in everything we want to do during the holy month of fasting.

The Zareeen family makes a Ramadan plan. The first morning they woke up too early for suhoor and had plenty of time until Fajr. The next morning they woke up too late and they were rushing to eat before the time was up. the 3rd morning, they woke up just right. Too much food one night and too little the next. Staying all night to pray with no sleep and no prayer the next day catching up on sleep.

Honestly, I felt the message of this book to my core. Trying to find the perfect balance between an increase of ibadah during this month and keeping up with daily family life seems to be the ultimate Ramadan strife. Each scenario is relatable and kids will understand the struggles of the Zareen Family. This year this is the first book I will be discussing with my kids and the importance of setting attainable goals within our means and consistency.
