My two oldest kids have had a phase where they went straight to the levelled reading section at our local library and they both loved the selection. So imagine my excitement when I saw this book about a Syrian refugee who used her voice to advocate for other kids to go to school even in refugee camps.
This biography is uplifting and inspirational and to kids everywhere need to read it. The theme is universal and the fact that this incredible young girl has advocated to her peers about the importance of education, shebis a hero in her own right. My daughter loved this story so make sure you check it out at your local public library!!
