Just like the title says, this book is the sunshine. It is about beautiful sisterhood. Older, middle and younger and how their relationships intertwine. The playfulness and the bond between the sisters, it is so tender and marvelous. The text is poetic and lyrical. peeking through the sunrays and tall grass blades. The illustrations give the words the life that the author intended. Beautiful story about black joy and beautiful wonders of sisterhood.
