Review:
This baby book highlights the Arab culture with each letter of the English alphabet. It showcases the diversity of Arabs throughout as well as Palestinian symbols. Ramadan, Eid, Mecca and Medina are found in its pages but also x-mas, which showcases that Arabs are not a monolith but there are those who belong to Christian faith. I would have liked to see Allah capitalized in the word ‘Inshallah’ as it is a common practice in most faith-centred books. The illustrations are adorable, captivating, and easy on the eyes. This book is a great read in a diverse setting/pre-school classroom.
