This early read chapter book was a delightful surprise. It centers around the topic of stars, meteors, and centers Allah and His limitless powers to create all the things we see and to keep us curious about the unseen. The way the author has tackled this topic and the layers she has peeled back and explored in here is clever and spot on. I love that the sisters have such an incredible bond and how the older sister is gently guiding the younger one.
The story is divided into 5 chapters and although it is easy to follow, the young readers will learn new terminology. The backmatter is also divided into the 5 chapters of reflections, references and recourses, and questions & activities. This would be a great choice for independent readers and in group settings to spark discussions.
