I didn’t have any expectations when I got this book. Then I opened its pages, I was blown away. Every page is full of heart. The text rhymes, the words are simple and the illustrations stunning!
Jeddo, although far from home, everything he has learned about tending his garden was passed down by his father. His garden full of life and fruits is now being taught and passed down to the new generation. This story, this book is a reflection of the Palestinian resistance all over the world. It is filled with Palestinian joy, deep roots and generations of tradition.
Beautiful book all around.
