Grandma knows the perfect solution.

Review:
This book was a refreshing treat, no pun intended. The story is set in Turkiye. It really highlights the diversity of people living in one apartment complex and this special dish that brings everyone’s ingedients together. I especially related to the culture of asking your neighbour for random ingredients missing from your recipe list. With my experience living in the west for 26 years, most of which I have spent in an apartment, neighbour friendships are nearly non existent. This book does not include any Islam other than hijab on a couple of characters. Personally, I really enjoyed this book.
