Summary:
Fatimah’s Grandmother comes to live with her family. and she is thrilled to listen to her wonderful stories full of colour. Slowly those stories disappear and so do Ayeyo’s colours, except for one deep dark colour.

Review:
This story is so heartwarming. It’s about family love and finding connection even through the huge generation gap. The book is so tender and kid friendly even though it has a complex emotional arc. I love that Fatima is trying to help her grandmother feel at ease and cheer her up. And the best part, without giving any spoilers, they find their connection through Islam. This heartfelt story deserves to be shared with Muslim kiddos everywhere.
