This book doesn’t follow a typical storyline with plot. It is a book that brings together a multicultural community for an evening of delicious iftar. It is a recipe book that can be used to make delicious treats from different cultural backgrounds. The book works well in its execution and I might even try a recipe or two with my kids this Ramadan. The backmatter if full of information about Ramadan, Rahma Road, recipes and more. This book has so many layers within it, community, faith, generosity and of course food.
