Review:
When I first read the book, it didn’t make a big impression on me. However, when I picked it up again I found myself appreciating what this book had to offer. With many contemporary stories where we seek to be represented in a relatable way, those with wise lessons like this go unnoticed. Like the book The Enormous Apple, this book is a fable-like story with an important message for little readers. I grew up listening to similar tales so the book made me a little nostalgic. I hope they start making their way back into the hands of mini Muslims especially those that have aspects of Islam incorporated into the plot in a natural way.
