Review:
I absolutely get giddy when I have no expectations and a refreshing surprise emerges. This book was a delight to read although it is quite long. The premise is unique, the illustrations are just beautiful and the execution of the messaging is spot on. There are so many themes that are touched upon that can spark further discussions with your little ones. The symbolism is amazing and so clearly explained and easy for the little minds to understand. One of the things that Muslim authors have to keep in mind is the length of text in their books. Most picture books are read by adults to the kids, so it has to be long enough to keep the attention of the little ones and of course appeal to the grown ups as well.

Finding inspiration in Islam in our daily life is an incredibly important discussion to have with our mini Muslims. The last 2 pages offer an extensive list of glossary terms and discussion questions that are extremely valuable. This book needs to be in every Muslim library.
