This book was a pleasant surprise. If you are looking for a book example to explain to your kids about the good-old saying, ‘don’t judge a book by its cover,’ this book would be it. I left it aside because the cover did not appeal to me. However, when I opened it and read it, I actually liked it very much., The concept makes for a unique theme that caters to Muslim readers in mind and centering Allah swt. Positive affirmations tied to Islamic concepts is a clever way to have Muslim kids build self-confidence from an Islamic lens. The inside illustrations are so adorable. I love the colour, style and creativity. I wish the cover gave the same vibe. Don’t skip out on this book for your little readers at home, at the masjid or in the classroom.
