Summary/Review:
This boardbook set is an audio book to help little ones learn the listed surahs from the Qur’an. I have 3 out of the 4 books listed in the back (Ayat ul- Kursi is the 4th).
Each page spread includes an ayah in Arabic, its English translation accompanied by an illustrated page. The illustrations seem to be random, one book has the 4 seasons, another has landscape, and one has faceless animals in its habitat.
The length of the book is determined by the number of ayat. The translated English text is the formal translation which doesn’t make it child friendly.
I like that the toddlers can learn the surahs from this set by listening. I know there are plenty of apps out there that do this already but this is definitely a screenless way for kids to learn. Two of the books I have are touch and feel and one is a scratch and sniff.
Definitely a great gift idea for a baby or a toddler.
