Review:
When I first saw this book on social media, it caught my attention instantly.

I love the fact that this book highlights one of the most unique masjid architecture in the world. A masjid made of mud, in which there is an annual festival to re-plaster it due to weather damage throughout the year. This is absolutely incredible for our kids to learn about.

The storytelling itself is okay. There is more telling than showing and whether or not there is a plot present, that’s debatable. The pacing of it is a little off and the text doesn’t quite allow the reader to be emotionally invested by the struggle in the pages. However, even with its imperfections, because it introduces the readers to a non-fictional masjid with such an extraordinary architectural design, I’m glad we have it in our collection.
