Review:
I mean, how do I even begin a review of a book where the words are so magnificent and the illustrations are so enchanting?

The story addresses one of the most common experiences in a child’s life: being left out and having to no choice but to embrace it. Yet, when the opportunity strikes, taking full advantage of a new possible friendship with someone that holds similar values to your own.

The way the text expresses the emotional rollercoaster of the protagonist in an eloquent way, yet remains true to the voice of the character is just brilliant. This one captures the very seed of a budding friendship in a tender way, perfect for Muslim kids everywhere. The illustrations swoop you up and take you for a colourful ride in the world of the soft tones on every page.

This book is a MUST-HAVE on every Muslim shelf, no question.

Thank you to @mandagroup for the #gifted copy.
