I wasn’t sure what to expect about the quality of this book since I didn’t really love they Super Sahaba Stories. However, this book has a different approach.
One of the first pages inside the covers is a visual timeline of the great Muslim civilizations that are included inside. And being a visual learner, I absolutely love that. Although there are overlapping years, it gave me an opportunity to see the chronological rise and fall of some of these kingdoms.
The book servse as a small window of introduction to the Muslim civilisations perfect for kids ages 10 and up. It has some side information of some important names pertaining to each civilization such as leaders, medical experts, inventors and more.
The pages are visually appealing and the text is perfectly suited for middle grade readers. This non-fiction historical text also has ayat and hadith sprinkled throughout. This book is a huge benefit on every muslim space, including classrooms and masjid shelves.
