It has been a while since Ihave read a folk-tale like Muslim story. And to find it published by RB was a refreshing surprise. Ibraheem is boy who find himself daydreaming a life full of adventure among his predictable farming days. He is a boy a reader would aspire to be, playful and full of energy.
The tale is whimsical, and the Islamic lesson is the sweetness that ties together the wondefully orchestrated story unapologetically catering Muslim readers.
Illustrations are unique in style and vibrant in colour. The text pulls you in and keeps you reeling to find out exactly why everyone is having a hard time with this gigantic apple that appeared up in town.
