This is the 5th book in Eliyas Explains series and once again, brilliant. Get your hands on this for your kiddos.
As we have seen in previous books, Eliyas is a cheeky boy filled with humour and giggles in which he explains each topic. However, due to the nature of this topic, the tone is a little more serious in nature. But that doesn’t take away the pure voice of the 9 year old that is filled with curiousity and questions.
This book does an excellent job discussing heavy topics such as why do bad things happen and why doesn’t Allah stop it? Or why doesn’t Allah just make all people do good? This book references also pages from another book published by Zanib Mian which we aldo love, The Young Muslims Mindful book of Well-being.
The book explores these hard questions in a age-appropriate manner and with a simple approach.
It was initially made into a free downloadable version which they later turned into a book. And I am so glad for that! The second half of the book is a journal and an opportunity for reflecting on the discussed topics. A great resource indeed.
