Summary/Review:
This adorable book is beautifully illustrated and the rhyming text takes you on an inredible journey to explore the colours al Quds. Since this is not an OWN voice book, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but boy was this a delightful read. We get to see the market place, masjid al Aqsa, kunafa, masjid Qibli, olive trees and more.

The simple text written in flowing rhymes along with the stunning illustrarions makes this book the perfect read for the current political climate.

The author has been a vocal supporter of the Palestinian people and their struggle. I got this book for our Islamic school bookfair and I am so glad read it and get my own copy! Definitely a book that needs to be added to your bookshelf.
