Review:
This beautiful story of Palestinian resiliance is wonderfully written in rhyme. The text flows from start to finish. It is rich in Palestinian culture on ever page. Each character in the book is so carefully thought out and are full of life. They each teach a small glimpse of Palestinian culture and tradition. Salim is a smiley kid who is determined to find what he has lost. And when he determines the fate of his soccer ball, the community comes through for him in an unexpected way. The way that the Palestinian community is connected to one another and their land comes through beautifully in such a tender way.

This book can be used as a gentle discussion starter for little ones about Palestinian Resilience. Theres so many important details on each page that with each time you read it with your kids, something new can be discovered. A must have book for homes, classrooms and libraries.
