Recently, I saw an alarming post from a 7th grade English teacher that seemed to resonate with a lot of his colleagues.
He said it is concerning that kids in the 7th grade are having trouble reading, writing, and spelling basic words.
This had me thinking about the fast-paced technology the kids are exposed to such a young age and why being intentional about reading to our kids from a young age is important.
