Summary/Review:

So far, This is the 3rd book I have read published by Tughra Books and I have enjoyed all of them. Tughra Books is an upcoming Muslim publisher that is uplifting Muslim stories, unapologetically. This book explores the many different ways Muslims have travelled to their once-in-a-lifetime journey, Hajj. It begins with mentioning its origin and Ibraheem alayhi salam and continues to explain the road many Muslims over the course of centuries the roads they have trekked to arrive at the ultimate destination. Although this is meant to be a picture book for children, I believe the adults reading it will have much more appreciation for this piece of literature. The kids listening to this read will get the just of it, but some of it may fly over their heads, and that’s okay. The book is written in rhyme, mostly wonderful, some a little forced. The illustrations are beautiful and work well with the adjacent text. I think this book can be an excellent tool to reference and discuss both Hajj and different forms of transportation throughout history.
