Summary/Review:

Mama’s Hijab is an adorable book that speaks about the comfort, safety, and love a little girl finds in her mother’s hijab. The book is adorable and is written in easy to understand rhymes. The soft illustrations really give a tender tone to the whole reading experience. I think this book may have been greatly inspired by Mommy’s Khimar concept-wise but the literary approach is definitely different. Both books can be a great read-a-loud pair to little Muslim girls at story time.
