Review:

I have been itching to get this book since I saw the cover reveal and I am so glad I did. Yusuf is such an adorable character. The book is written in rhyme verse throughout. I love the quality of this paperback and the gold title is just gorgeous. This simple sunnah is explored in a way that brings the kids back to learning even more sunnahs that they can implement in their daily lives easily. Above that, this book is filled with cultural seeds, may it be with vocabulary or in the glimpses of the illustrations. The family is Pathan, which is a Pashtun tribe. All the more reason I wanted this book in my collection because it is an underrepresented culture in Muslim books. I am always looking for books that show and represent different cultures within Muslim stories. The end of the book offers a glossary list and two pages of hadith references. This book is so adorable and should be in all Muslim spaces to show a culturally diverse representation with Islam being the center of the story!
