In this book the reader follows a little boy who is going on a trip to Mecca. He describes everything he sees hears and touches. The book focuses on all the different senses and through this journey. There is lots to discuss with your child when you read this book. Paying attention and using your senses when reading through the pages and you can even do an exercise to encourage your kids to describe what do they sense in the room they are in.
The back of the book offer discussion points as well as a handful of names of Allah that can draw connections to the senses which I thought was clever. It also includes a glossary of some unfamiliar terms.
Overall this is a great read for little ones now that we are coming up to the hajj season.
