Summary/Review:

A feline cat observes and joins the Muslim pilgrims as they complete the rituals of Hajj. Bissa the cat narrates her observations of hajj in a playful rhyming text.

What a clever idea. This playful book manages to talk about ihram, day of Arafah, Muzdalifah, Jamaraat, Sacrifice, Safa and Marwa, Zam Zam water and everything in between. I honestly enjoyed reading this story and I think it will be a great read-a-loud option for kids with the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha and Hajj season.

The rhymes are fun, the text is clear and the verses work well. Bissa the cat is very likable and entertaining. Perfect for young readers and listeners alike.
