Summary/Review:

This book is a 2nd installment of Nadiya Hussain books. My Monster and Me that discusses anxiety is already reviewed on my grid. This book tackles a common topic of bullying and finding your strength to navigate through it. It is presented in simple language and sentence structure so young kids who are new in school environments can follow the storyline easily. The story is narrated in first person and just like in the first book, we don’t know the name or background of the protagonist. This book can be a resourceful tool that can spark beneficial discussions in the classroom with young children. My kids definitely enjoyed this read especially my 5-year-old. This would serve as a great addition to classroom settings and beyond.
