Review:

This adorable picture book is such a joyful read. The story is set in Tehran and the illustrations portray the culturally rich scenery so beautifully, in every bit of detail. The text is written in perfect rhyme that flows so easily. It is written in ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?’ style which makes the rhythm familiar to read and listen to. The bond between Samira and Mama Shamsi is portrayed so wonderfully. The kids will have a giggle or two listening to this story. It would make such a great read-out-loud option. My kids and I really enjoyed this creative book!
