📚 My Arabic Alphabet Word Book 📚

Author/Illustrator: Zulaykha B

Age: 0-5

Islamic Content: Arabic alphabet and Arabic/Islamic vocabulary

Concerns: None

Summary/Review:

This is such an adorable board book is designed with dry-erase technology in mind. The colours and the visual design I actually find it to be very beautifully done. It is kid-friendly yet easy on the eyes and it is not busy; keeps the focus on the letters and the words. The book opens from right to left and comes with a marker. This is also a great way for the young ones to practice their fine motor skills. Each letter includes two Arabic words, transliteration and the English translation. My 4-year-old totally loves this and the tracing. She has decided this will be her homework. I love that the words are mainly Islamic terms which can be used to teach new Arabic vocabulary. Some of he words included are: eeman, taqwa, hajj, khayr, dhuhr, Yuusuf etc. With the variety of words, many different topics can be introduced to the little ones. I can see this being incorporated in Muslim daycares and used at home.
