Grandmothers.

They are someone to be cherished, honoured and valued.

They are an endless source of strength when they have sacrificed their homes for the safety of their families.

They bear culture and tradition placed on their shoulders from their ancestors to carry forward to their kin.

They provide wisdom that has been shaped through their years of existence.

Whether near or far, grandmother’s unconditional love and warmth is irreplaceable.

May Allah protect our grandmothers and bless them with His generous protection.

As for mine who have passed on, may Allah forgive their sins and show mercy towards them for they had lived a life of hardship and sacrifice. Ameen.
