Review:

This is a newly released song book by the well-known nasheed singer Zain Bhikha. What a fun way to teach the little ones about over eating, gratefulness, empathy and generosity. I am beginning to appreciate these nasheeds/songs turned into books especially for those of us that tend to avoid listening to anything instrumental. My kids loved this silly yet valuable storyline. This is how important messages stick to the little minds; when they are executed in a clever and creative way. The readers have the opportunity to learn names of new places like Damascus, Turkey, Cairo and more. In addition, we are introduced to various ethnic dishes which is wonderful. The illustrations are just so adorable and eye catching. This is a perfect book to entertain and the kids while teaching something valuable to the mini Muslims.
