Summary/Review:

This bilingual book about Ramadan is simple and straight forward. It states only a few basic facts about this month. It includes: fasting from dawn to sunset, the Qur’an was revealed in this month, mentions suhoor, iftar, praying and dhikr. Now that my son is able to read in Arabic, I have a new found appreciation for bilingual books. He likes to read them and is able to recognize familiar words. It would have helped if the Arabic text had also included the harakat. Overall, the English text is okay except couple of sentences that felt a little awkward to read. Maybe more details could have helped make the book a little more sentimental so that we can truly connect to it. Other that, it is an okay book to have.
