Review:

These books are so imporant for our children to have access to. They encompass a vast range of teachings from something as simple as saying bismillah to the deeper rooted manners that Islam promotes. What makes these books unique is their presentation. Each dua/hadith is written in the original Arabic, its English translation and the transliteration, followed by ‘What does it mean?’ and ‘How can I use it in my Life?’ description.

Both books cover mostly concepts that are easy for the kids to understand as well as put into practice while there are a few that need a bit of an explanation. Some lessons included in the books are: kindness, gratitude, reliance on Allah, emotions, manners, character, friendships etc. A couple of times I thought that the explanations were slightly too wordy and found myself trying to untangle the sentences. However, I absolutely love the overall idea, presentation and the visual appeal of these books. I definitely recommend both.
