My Dad’s Beard by Zanib Mian

I just love how playful and fun this book is. The little boy describes his dad’s beard in multiple ways and it is adorable. The size of the book is quite large and the font is very creative on each page. It is aimed at toddlers but even older kids enjoyed it when I did a read-out-loud and laughed at how real it is.

Once again, @zanibmian‘s creativity shines though this simple concept in this book. There are a few books about hijab but this is the only one I know of that highlights the beard, one of the other traits of a Muslim identity.
