This is the first book I will share now that we are coming close to the hajj season. This adorable book follows the pretend play/imagination of a little boy who embarks on his hajj journey. He is dressed in ihram and sandals and uses his rocking horse to visit the Ka’aba. He meets a friend he shares his snacks with and helps him with directions.

The story is so cute and playful. It is meant for young readers as it doesn’t dwell into the rituals of hajj rather it showcases the love and yearning for this sacred journey from child’s perspective.

This adventurous book makes a wonderful read with the kids. A definite thumbs up. 👍👍
